Volunteer Centres (VC's) promote volunteering, encouraging individuals to volunteer and organisations to recruit volunteers. Your local VC will have a list of volunteering opportunities in your area and will match your preferences with an organisation seeking to recruit volunteers. The service is free. Volunteer Centres are friendly, welcoming places and welcome enquiries from people and organisations considering volunteering and will advise on what you have to do to secure a volunteer placement.
